Fire Chief Todd Ross of the Denmark Fire & Rescue in Iowa purchased a Ram Air Gear Dryer as a first line of protection against cancer. The purchase came after Bob Riddle, a founding member of the department, died of brain cancer. Since then, Ross has taken great efforts to adopt safer practices in order to reduce his firefighters’ exposure risk to carcinogens.
