Instructions For:
Immersion/Hazmat Ram Air Gear Dryer
4 or 6 Place Ram Air Gear Dryer

Place boots with the pants rolled down under
one of the six hanging ports.
- Pull the pant suspenders over the shoulder
area of the hanging port. (Hoses should be inside pants and hanging down
toward boots.) Figure A.
- Insert one arm of jacket 1/3 of the way into
the hanging port while starting opposite side. Once both hanging arms are
approximately 1/3 inserted into jacket, pull jacket until it is hanging
with hoses inserted as far as possible. Figure B.
- Secure coat and pants using Velcro or other
closures on your particular garment. Please note that pants and jackets
should be placed on the same port.
- Turn on the red valve directly connected to
the ports. Figure C.
- Use the helmet and glove rack to dry other
accessory equipment that needs drying. Figure D. Ensure red port valve is
in the open position. (Glove ports do not need to be fully open and can
be operated partially opened.) Figure E.
- Close all unused ports.
- Select appropriate timer setting.
- Hearing protection may be required when working
in same vicinity while unit is in operation.
- Your gear will be dry in approximately 5-8
hours.
Not only can the RAM-AIR GEAR DRYER
be used to dry your gear, but as an added option, you can remove the dryer
to hook it to your pump's water ports for quick winter drying to help
prevent damaging winter freeze ups.
